Toolkit for Health Navigators for continuity in care across clinic and home: Nutrition, Hygiene, Body

Health Navigators as a resource have the potential and capability to fit into the gaps of the public healthcare system and enhance pregnancy care outcomes. Moreover, their strength in well-established socio-economic infrastructure makes them the right candidates to rectify the last mile services. What might we design as their weapons keeping in mind the physical and digital artefacts, for enabling the right pregnancy and childbirth service?

Probing questions:

How might we improve coordination amongst the frontline health care providers through physical and digital artefacts?

How might we support HNs with mobile toolkits that allow them to provide care across homes and clinics?

How might we utilise technological access and knowledge of HNs to support pregnant women in their journey regarding nutrition, and hygiene?

How might we enable HNs to fill in the gaps left by the system health care infrastructure for pregnant women?

How might the design tools enable the pregnant woman to better plan, coordinate and reconfigure practices across the situated human and nonhuman elements of the care infrastructure?
